The JV Boys Basketball Head Coach is responsible for planning and leading practices, managing team logistics, and fostering a safe, motivating environment for student-athletes. The coach must also communicate effectively with families and the athletics department while ensuring compliance with NEPSAC regulations.
The JV Basketball Head Coach is responsible for building various aspects of the Boys Basketball Program, such as recruiting, training, and coaching team members. The JV Head Basketball Coach must abide by NEPSAC regulations and the rules set by Darrow School’s Board of Trustees, Head of School, Senior Administrative Team, and Director of Athletics.
This is a part-time position that runs from the start of the school year and ends after the basketball season has concluded.
Position is estimated to average ten to twelve hours per week, and be paid as a 1099 contractor, a payment of $3000 through mutually agreed payment frequency terms.
