The coach is responsible for leading gymnastics training sessions while ensuring athlete safety and building confidence. They must also maintain professional conduct and provide exceptional customer care to families.
The Xcel coach will report directly to the Head Xcel Coach. Performance expectations include, but are not limited to: Safety, Vision, Leadership, Training, Curriculum, Customer Satisfaction, Teamwork, and Company Image. Olympia/Team Central coaches are responsible for building confidence and self-esteem, while helping athletes learn proper gymnastics to the best of their ability in a safe, fun environment. Coaches are also responsible for exceptional customer care and professional conduct.
*High School Diploma (preferred)
*2+ years coaching competitive gymnastic (required)
*Gymnastics background and experience teaching (required)
*Advanced knowledge of gymnastics skill and progression breakdowns (required)
*Strong class management skills (required)
*Must have outstanding organizational, communication and interpersonal skills (required)
*Ability to lift equipment and spot children (required)
*4-15 hours/week. Mostly evening hours with possibility of weekend hours.
