  • Salary: $18.50 (Hourly) We are seeking a Family Support Specialist to join our team. Your role will partner with the Foster Care Case Managers and provide support services to parents and families to help strengthen relationships and reunify parents and children. This position helps to develop trusting, nurturing, and supportive relationships with families through short and long-term intervention using various social work and educational methods, including individual, and/or group family support, and supervised visitation.   • WILL DO: Provide supervision and support during family time, appointments, transitions, and emergencies. Supervises family time in an office, home, or community setting. Support parents during supervised family time by modeling safe, nurturing interactions. Provide coaching to parents and children during interactions to build on skills and promote growth opportunities. Staff children in hospitals or placements when supervision is required. Work with the family on case plan goals and court orders.

  • BRING: Our ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience working with children and families and the following: High School diploma, or equivalent Able to demonstrate knowledge of child development practice At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening A valid driver’s license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
