The Vocational Job Coach provides individualized support to clients to assist with vocational duties, employment skills, and behavior management. They also collaborate with program staff and external partners to develop effective employment plans and collect performance data.
At least 3 years of experience working with clients with moderate to severe disabilities Completion of or currently enrolled in a program for Education, OR Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), or currently enrolled in a program preferred. Mastery and enthusiasm for best practices in autism education and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Track record of success in behavior management with clients with autism or other special needs Ability to approach situations with optimism and perseverance Ability to communicate with parents, co-workers, and professional contacts in a courteous and professional manner and following AZACS guidelines Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to exercise reasonable judgment and maintain confidentiality Experience in structured teaching, center-based model preferred Valid Arizona fingerprint clearance card
Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card Current Arizona driver's license (must not be revoked, expired, or suspended) All Vocational job coaches are subject to taking and passing a 9-panel drug screening prior to driving the Company van Experience and training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
