Southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Athletics, Sports Medicine invites applicants for the position of Associate Athletic Trainer.
The successful candidate will assist the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine will all aspect of Sports Medicine including injury prevention, recognition, evaluation, management, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning.
Also, organize and administer day-to-day operations of the athletic training facilities including, but not limited to, maintaining medical records, supply inventory, coordination of sports medicine insurance and billing, management of athletic secondary accident policy, staff communication regarding international student policies, purchasing, and assist in supervision of graduate assistants and clinically instruct undergraduate athletic training students in the Athletic Training Undergraduate Program.
Ability to travel and work nights/weekends as necessary.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited university.
