The Sunday School Teacher is responsible for preparing and leading interactive Bible lessons for school-age children while maintaining a safe and orderly classroom environment. They must also facilitate prayer, manage check-in/out procedures, and ensure the classroom is sanitized and reset after each session.

The Teaching Role East Gate Church is hiring a part-time Sunday School Teacher (School Age Classroom) to help children engage Scripture in a way they can understand and apply. This role exists to support families by providing consistent, Christ-centered teaching on Sunday mornings.
Sundays 9:00am–12:00pm (onsite, Albuquerque).
The morning moves between simple routines and joyful moments—an interactive Bible lesson, conversation, and play—while you stay alert to transitions and reach out to ministry leadership if a parent needs to be contacted.
Candidates must have experience working with children and the ability to create interactive lesson plans. Additionally, they are required to be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification and must support the church's mission.
