The assistant teacher supports the classroom team by creating a safe and engaging environment for children while assisting with daily activities and curriculum implementation. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Previous experience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or similar setting preferred. Basic understanding of classroom procedures and willingness to learn state licensing and compliance requirements. Must meet all state-specific education, certification (including CPR/First Aid, where required), licensing, and regulatory requirements, including the ability to pass a background check and complete ongoing professional development. Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with children, families, and team members. Must be at least 18 years of age.
