About the role

Support lead and associate teachers in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for 4-year-olds. Assist with daily routines, meal times, transitions, and the implementation of age-appropriate learning activities.

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan’s state-funded, nationally recognized Pre-K program for 4-year-olds.

As a GSRP Aide, you will support the Lead and Associate Teachers in preparing children for Kindergarten and beyond by helping create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment.

As a GSRP Aide, you will: Support classroom routines and help with daily activities, meals, and transitions.

Follow licensing, grant, and center guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all children.

Assist with classroom setup, organization, and maintaining a clean learning space.

Build positive relationships with children and help implement fun, age-appropriate activities.

What You Bring: A high school diploma or GED (early childhood coursework or experience preferred).

A passion for helping children learn and grow.

Dependability, energy, and a collaborative spirit.

Ability to work indoors/outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
