The Assistant Girls Soccer Coach will assist the Head Coach in planning practices, training sessions, and game-day operations to support the soccer program. They are also responsible for fostering academic success, character development, and a positive team culture among student-athletes.

Louis.Job Summary Cardinal Ritter College Prep is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Assistant Girls Soccer Coach to support the growth and success of its girls soccer program.

Cardinal Ritter is a St.

Louis Archdiocesan, coeducational college preparatory high school serving students in grades 9–12.

The successful candidate will help foster a competitive athletic program while promoting academic achievement, leadership, sportsmanship, and personal growth among student-athletes.

Essential Responsibilities

Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices, training sessions, and game preparation.

Provide individual and team instruction to enhance player skills, performance, and understanding of the game.

Support game-day operations, including coaching responsibilities and team management.

Assist with program administration, including communication, equipment management, and record keeping.

Encourage academic success and positive character development among student-athletes.

Promote a respectful, inclusive, and team-oriented culture.

Ensure compliance with school, conference, and athletic department policies and expectations.

Qualifications

  • Previous soccer playing and/or coaching experience preferred, particularly at the high school or club level.
  • Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, strategies, and team dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the academic, personal, and athletic development of student-athletes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, students, parents, and school staff.
  • Must satisfy all applicable district, diocesan, and state coaching certification and background check requirements.

Requirements
