We are seeking dedicated and passionate Tutors to join our team to provide reading support and/or math support to students in small groups. The Tutors will work closely with students to enhance their literacy skills by focusing on key aspects of the Science of Reading, a research-based approach to reading instruction, and/or focus on enhancing their math skills by focusing on key aspects of the Science of Math, which is a research-based approach to Math. This is a part-time position that provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic success.
Understanding of/willing to learn about literacy development, reading strategies, and the Science of Reading principles Understand of/willing to learn about Math development and the Science of Math Principles Experience working with students on reading and literacy and/or math, preferred Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
