About the role

The instructor will deliver individualized math instruction to K-12 students using the Mathnasium Method in both in-center and online settings. They are also responsible for assessing student progress and collaborating with team members to maintain a supportive learning environment.

What you will do as a Math Tutor: Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes What we are looking for in a Math Tutor: Passion for math and working with students Excellent interpersonal skills Eagerness to learn and be trained Exceptional math competency in Math III, Precalculus, Calculus, Statistic, SAT/ACT Math preparation As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.

If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.

Requirements

Candidates must possess exceptional math competency in subjects including Precalculus, Calculus, and SAT/ACT preparation. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for teaching students are required, along with the ability to pass a math literacy test.
