The Girls Junior Varsity Assistant Tennis Coach reports to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for assisting in the overall management of the junior varsity girls tennis team under the leadership of the Head Junior Varsity Tennis Coach. This position is responsible for coaching and providing direction to student athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for physical fitness, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork in tennis.
This position requires travel and work on weekends and evenings.
The Girls Junior Varsity Assistant Tennis Coach must exhibit high standards of professionalism and communication. They must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of working with high school students. They must have the ability to interact with students, parents, and staff, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient. This person must support the value of an education.
