As a Part-Time Aquatic Fitness Instructor at The MAC, you'll guide classes through safe, effective and engaging aquatic workouts.

Position Responsibilities Plan and lead engaging aquatic fitness classes, including water aerobics and other swim-based fitness programs.
Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and provide modifications to help participants of all fitness levels exercise safely and effectively.
Create a positive class environment, offering encouragement and feedback to support participants in achieving their fitness goals.
Ensure a safe swim environment, responding to emergencies and administer first aid or CPR when needed.
Track class attendance.
Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience teaching group fitness or aquatic fitness classes preferred.
Aquatic Fitness Instructor certification, such as AEA, YMCA or equivalent.
Certification in CPR, First Aid and AED.
