Market context
In Colorado, entry-level Direct Support Professional roles often reflect steady demand in disability and community support settings, especially when employers need candidates who can start quickly and complete required training. These roles can be competitive because a bachelor’s degree, physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and willingness to finish paid RBT certification within 20 days all narrow the applicant pool.
