About the role

The Lead Primary Montessori Teacher will develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum based on Montessori pedagogy while monitoring student progress. They are also responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children in a harmonious learning environment.

As a Lead Montessori Teacher, you will develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum following the Montessori pedagogy, plan engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assess and documenting your student's progress. If you have the following, we would love to speak with you: Experience in a Montessori teaching environment is strongly preferred; a willingness to learn and follow the Montessori philosophy is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development / CDA Certified preferred
  • 2-5 years prior experience working in a certified child development center
  • Prior experience with the assigned age group.
  • Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
  • Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone. Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members is required. The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education is essential for this role. Requirements

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, with an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development or CDA certification preferred. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a certified child development center is required.
