The teacher assistant supports the classroom teacher in facilitating student learning and development while maintaining a positive and respectful environment. Responsibilities include executing lesson plans, managing student behavior, and performing routine supervision duties such as lunch and hallway monitoring.

The teacher assistant reports to the principal and is supervised by the principal. Other key relationships include the assistant principal, grade level team, and his/her assigned teacher.

This position has an hourly range of $15.50 - $17.00. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
A high school diploma is required, while a bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents while adhering to the school's Catholic mission.
