Our Gymnastics program serves athletes from their very first class through competitive levels. We are looking for a coach who is excited to help athletes build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of the sport while contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture. About the Opportunity Chelsea Piers Connecticut is seeking a motivated, dependable, and passionate Full-Time Competitive & Recreational Gymnastics Coach to join our growing program. This dual-role position combines coaching within our competitive team program with leading preschool and recreational classes. The ideal candidate brings strong technical gymnastics knowledge, an athlete-first coaching approach, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety, development, and creating an outstanding experience for athletes and families.

Schedule

Full-time (approximately 35 - 40 hours per week), in-person at Chelsea Piers in Stamford, CT. Requires weekend and evening hours.

Compensation

  • $50,000 - $55,000 per year, exempt from overtime Primary Responsibilities General Expectations
  • Create and contribute to a positive gym culture
  • Physical demands: ability to safely spot athletes of various sizes and ability to stand and move for extended periods of time Competitive Team Coaching USAG Xcel and Developmental levels Attend all scheduled practices and competitions Working knowledge of USAG competitive rules and policies Develops and implements lesson plans consistent with program objectives
