HealthFitness is looking for an energetic Sports Instructor to join the team at our corporate client site in Sunnyvale, CA. In this role, you'll lead engaging sports and recreational activities, create a fun and inclusive environment, and help participants stay active, motivated, and connected through movement and play. We're seeking someone who is passionate about sports, enjoys working with diverse groups, and is committed to delivering exceptional participant experiences. This is an as-needed position, working when classes are scheduled, with advance notice provided to support scheduling and availability. Responsible for sports instruction in soccer, basketball, volleyball, etc. to both children and adults.
Provide high quality individual/group sports lessons to children and/or adults of varying abilities. Setup/breakdown of area before/after lessons. Assist in the promotion of sporting events and helping to answer member questions about classes, leagues, tournaments, etc. Perform other duties as needed/assigned. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Adult & child CPR/AED and First Aid certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, American Safety & Health Institute, or National Safety Council. One (1) or more years sports teaching experience with children and/or adults. Professional appearance and attitude. Ensure students/players adhere to safety guidelines and demonstrate good sportsmanship. The compensation range for this role is $55 - $63 per class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
