  • Hello, Special Education Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in Aurora, CO. In this role, you'll provide individualized instruction, develop and implement IEPs, and help students build the academic, social, and behavioral skills they need to thrive. You'll collaborate with a dedicated school team in a supportive learning environment while partnering with a therapist-operated company that values your expertise and success.   • + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure and professional development + referral bonuses What You’ll Do Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs Provide specialized instruction in reading, writing, math, and other core academic areas Support students with mild to moderate disabilities in achieving academic and behavioral goals Collaborate with general education teachers to promote successful inclusion Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation Adapt curriculum, accommodations, and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs Partner with families and multidisciplinary team members to support student success What We’re Looking For Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license with Special Education endorsement Strong classroom management and collaboration skills School-based experience preferred, not required About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
