Illinois nursing faculty roles stay selective

In Illinois, assistant professor roles in nursing programs are typically competitive because schools look for candidates who combine teaching potential with current clinical experience. For this role, a master’s degree in nursing, a valid Illinois RN license, and at least two years of clinical nursing experience are required, while recognition, compensation, and well-being offerings may help differentiate offers.
