The Summer Camp Counselor is responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of daily camp activities. They will work directly with children to provide a safe, healthy, and engaging environment.

As a YMCA Summer Camp Counselor you are responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of our camp activities.
This is a seasonal position that starts at the end of May and runs through mid-August.

High school diploma or GED required At least 18 years of age. 1-year experience working with children in a day camp setting preferred. Experience with outdoor recreation, songs/music, skits, sports, aquatics, games, etc. Ability to work effectively work with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions.
