Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and goals Deliver differentiated instruction using evidence-based strategies for students with exceptional needs Monitor and document student progress, behavior, and academic performance regularly Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure inclusive learning environments Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and IEP team members regarding student development Maintain compliance with ESE regulations, state standards, and district policies Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes student growth and independence
Valid Florida ESE (Exceptional Student Education) teaching certification required Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field Experience working with students with diverse exceptionalities and learning disabilities Must speak impeccable English Christian Faith Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment About Us: Promised Land Academy is a dedicated educational institution serving the Homestead, and surrounding areas, (Kendall, Cutler Bay, Naranja, etc.) community with a mission to uplift and empower every student in a Christian environment. *Kindergarten through 12th grade *School accepts Step Up and (AAA) Scholarships. *Provides Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy.
