Teaching responsibilities include: Provides instruction and supervision for assigned students. Assists faculty member in evaluation of students’ progress and competency. Provides a positive role model and professional attitude toward students and the teaching process. Maintains confidentiality in accord with college/program policy. Works effectively with the daily mental and physical stresses of the job which includes, but not limited to meeting deadlines, attending meetings, completing compliance requirements, meeting and working with staff, faculty, students and the public.
Candidate must possess RN licensure in the state of Iowa as required by accreditation regulations. Minimum of a master's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in nursing or related field required. Nationally certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Ideal candidate will have 2 years recent clinical practice experience.
