High School Literacy Intervention Specialist Full-Time | Catholic High School | Denver, CO How you'll be there for students: Be their advocate, coach, and champion for literacy growth. If you became a teacher to help students build the skills and confidence to succeed, there's a place for you at Catapult Learning. As a full-time Reading Interventionist, you'll provide targeted, high-impact literacy support to high school students through small group pull-out sessions and in-class support, working side-by-side with classroom teachers to keep instruction aligned and effective.

Responsibilities

As a Reading Interventionist with Catapult Learning, you will

  • Instruction: Provide direct, small group pull-out and in-class reading intervention using Catapult Learning's proprietary curriculum and a diagnostic-prescriptive approach.
  • Collaborate with
  • Teachers: Partner with classroom teachers through shared planning time, data meetings, and ongoing communication to keep intervention strategies aligned with classroom learning goals and jointly monitor student progress.
  • Monitor
  • Progress: Progress monitor students throughout the school year, using data to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction and make timely instructional adjustments.
  • Engage
  • Families: Conduct parent/guardian outreach, prepare student progress reports, and lead parent conferences to keep families informed and involved in student growth.
  • Grow
  • Professionally: Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development provided by Catapult Learning. Pay Rate

Starting from USD $74,000.00/Yr.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and have experience providing reading intervention at the high school level. A teaching license or certification and a Master's degree are highly preferred, along with strong skills in literacy instruction and data-driven decision-making.
