The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum while ensuring a safe and engaging classroom environment. As a Lead Teacher, your primary responsibility is to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom experience. You will plan and implement curriculum that sparks learning and creativity, support children’s emotional and social growth through positive guidance, and build trusting relationships with families.

Certifications and Qualifications: Must meet DCF 251 qualifications for a Child Care Teacher. Prior experience working in a licensed child care setting as a Lead or Assistant Teacher. Creative, flexible, energetic, and patient. Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Ability to engage with children at their level and respond to their individual needs. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and actively participate in classroom activities. Must complete a physician-signed health examination and fingerprint-based background check before beginning work. CPR certification within 60 days of hire (we offer certification classes that are FREE for staff)
