We are seeking a full-time Health Educator/Mental Health Counselor to teach students in Grades K-6. This position is an integral part of Dalton’s K-12 Health and Wellness Department, which has the mission to support and nurture each student’s social, emotional, and intellectual life, enabling them to thrive within the Dalton community.
The Health Educator/Mental Health Counselor is a 10-month position.
The person will teach health classes and provide social and emotional support for students outside of the classroom.
We seek a candidate with experience and interest in working with a broad range of students through engaging, inquiry-based lessons within the framework of the Dalton Plan.
Experience in developing a data and researched-based Health curriculum is central to this role.
This person will work closely with Health and K-6 team members on building out an innovative and clear scope and sequence for the Health program.
