About the role

The Teacher Aide supports lead teachers in maintaining a clean, safe, and interactive classroom environment. They assist with daily routines, including meal setup and cleanup, while engaging in child development activities.

The Teacher Aide will support the Teachers and Assistant Teachers to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision and effective implementation of Learning Care Group’s Education Value Proposition.

Teacher Aides

Care! Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.

Help! Supports Teachers/Assistant Teachers by setting up for, and cleaning up after breakfast, lunch, and snack. Clean and sanitize the classroom as needed.

Engage! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.

Learn! Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Job Qualifications

  • Meets state licensing requirements for working in a school
  • The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
  • Experience working with children in some capacity preferred
  • We will train!

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay $16.40 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
  • Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
  • Limited medical offered for part-time workers.
  • Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees
  • Monday-Friday work week

Requirements

Candidates must meet state licensing requirements for working in a school and possess the ability to engage in physical activity with children. Previous experience working with children is preferred, though the company provides training.
