At Jefferson RISE, assessments are a critical part of measuring and driving student achievement. The Testing Proctor ensures all assessments are administered with integrity, consistency, and attention to detail. This role is responsible for creating a calm, structured testing environment while supporting students in following all testing procedures and accommodations.
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to execute systems with precision in a fast-paced school environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assessment Administration Administer state tests, unit exams, quizzes, and make-up assessments in alignment with school protocols Clearly communicate testing procedures and expectations to students Monitor testing environments to ensure compliance, focus, and academic integrity Document and report any testing irregularities Preparation & Logistics Prepare all testing materials and technology in advance (e.g., devices, accommodations, platforms) Ensure assessments are properly set up in testing systems Coordinate student attendance for testing sessions, including accommodations and make-ups Troubleshoot basic technology issues during testing Systems & Compliance Maintain accurate records of testing sessions and student participation Follow all school and state testing policies and procedures with fidelity Communicate proactively with the Assessment Coordinator regarding needs or issues
