$26.94 - $28.20 depending on experience and qualifications

Position Summary

The COP Education Coordinator provides comprehensive curricular and administrative support to the College of Pharmacy's academic programs. This role coordinates course logistics, curricular documentation, and assessment administration while serving as the primary administrator for key educational technology platforms. The Coordinator serves as a vital liaison between faculty, program staff, and administrative leadership to ensure a streamlined, effective educational experience for students and faculty.

RFU is a national leader in interprofessional research and practices, and is nationally recognized for its research in areas including neuroscience, brain-related diseases, inherited disorders, proteomics, cancer cell biology and immunology, and gait and balance.

Essential

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Curriculum & Course Coordination
  • Assist faculty and program staff with curriculum coordination, course logistics, and student success initiatives.
  • Create and maintain courses in the learning management system including conversion from in-person to online courses, submitting requests to the IT department, uploading course materials, and entering grades.
  • Create exams in ExamSoft and assist with the organization and maintenance of curriculum documents and syllabi.
  • Help maintain ADA compliance and support course evaluation processes.
  • Ensure all courses are following College policies and procedures
  • Provide administrative support for college committees.
  • Curricular Documentation & Resource Management
  • Facilitate the production of curricular documentation, including individual course syllabi, course competency maps, and course reviews.
  • Perform thorough reviews of syllabi and competency maps, format and edit for grammar and accuracy, and ensure compliance with approved templates and other published curricular resources.
  • Curate and manage a shared and organized repository of all official documents, templates, and tracking spreadsheets, and maintain a central location for copies of approved records.
  • Gather curricular resources and assist with the creation of curricular databases.
  • Liaison & Collaboration
  • Serve as liaison between faculty and staff in all aspects of the production of syllabi and competency maps.
  • Collaborate with assistant/associate deans, department chairs, and course directors to maintain curricular resources.
  • College & Departmental Process Oversight
  • Assure that all centralized management processes are coordinated and organized efficiently.
  • Oversee and execute comprehensive, integrated college and departmental processes in close communication with the Administrative Director.
  • Investigate, develop, and make recommendations regarding strategies and processes for ongoing improvements in processes.
  • Educational Technology & Systems Administration
  • Manage and optimize use of educational technologies and learning platforms (e.g., D2L, ExamSoft, Zoom, Panopto, Acadly, Google Workspace) to support instruction and assessment.
  • Serve as an administrator for key platforms, systems, and databases, including ExamSoft; D2L/Brightspace (responsible for enrolling faculty users and exporting data); Qualtrics; Castle Branch; Slate; Self-Service; and WebAdvisor.
  • Coordinate classroom and meeting room technology, including A/V, videoconferencing, and recording.
  • Stay current with innovations in instructional technology and recommend enhancements that improve course delivery and student engagement.
  • Assessment & Proctoring
  • Administer and proctor exams and quizzes, both in-person and virtual, ensuring secure, consistent, and professional testing environments.
  • Accreditation & Regulatory Support
  • Compile and maintain data needed for accreditation and regulatory requirements.

Required Education & Experience

● Bachelor’s degree or higher.

● 3 - 5 years of administrative support or education experience, preferably in curriculum or academic program coordination.

  • Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with educational technology platforms.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle confidential information.
  • Strong project coordination experience and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in higher education or academic curriculum support.
  • Experience administering learning management systems and exam software.
