About the role

The Infant Teacher will provide a nurturing and engaging classroom experience while building strong relationships with families. They are responsible for maintaining consistent routines, meeting licensing standards, and ensuring a safe environment for infant development.

Signing Bonus

This position is eligible for a signing bonus totaling $2,500, paid in installments as follows: $500 after 30 days of employment, $1,000 after 90 days of employment, and $1,000 after 6 months of employment. All bonus payments are subject to standard tax withholdings. Discovery Isle Preschool is seeking a loving and attentive Infant Teacher to join our team. Our infant programs provide a safe, nurturing environment where the youngest learners can explore, grow, and reach important developmental milestones — all while feeling secure and supported.

Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to: Provide a warm, responsive, and engaging classroom experience that supports each child’s individual needs. Build strong, trusting relationships with families through daily communication and care updates. Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment where infants can develop curiosity, confidence, and early learning skills. Collaborate with your teaching team to maintain consistent routines, meet licensing standards, and uphold our school’s commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old, have an awarded high school diploma or GED, AND have one of the following: Completed 12 Core Early Childhood Education (ECE) Units, including 3 Infant Toddler ECE Units OR An awarded Child Development Associate (CDA) in Infant Toddler. A minimum of 6 months prior teaching experience in a licensed childcare center. A nurturing personality with patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with babies.
