  • Include: Free YMCA of Greater Indianapolis Membership 20 Hours Per Week of Free Child Care Flexible Hours/Scheduling Retirement Discounted Program Fees Professional Development Under the direction and supervision of the Program Director, the Program Instructor II will be primarily responsible for providing quality leadership and supervision, in group exercise classes, while maintaining a safe, non-competitive environment for YMCA members. Qualifications A high school diploma and experience leading group exercise is preferred. A minimum of 18 years of age. Knowledge of basic exercise science, biomechanics principles and fitness class leadership is required. Ability to successfully demonstrate aerobic choreography. Verbally provide clear concise directions and visually inspect classroom for safety Maintain current certifications in CPR AED, First Aid, Safety & Risk Management, Child Abuse Prevention and New Employee Orientation or the ability to obtain within 60-90 days of employment.

Requirements

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess knowledge of exercise science and biomechanics. A high school diploma is preferred, along with the ability to obtain necessary safety and first aid certifications.
