Extended Day Teacher - Chesterbrook Academy Chesterbrook Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Extended Day Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for students after the school day.

About the Role

As an Extended Day Teacher, you will supervise students while providing a thoughtful mix of homework support, creative activities, games, and indoor and outdoor play. You will help students transition successfully from the classroom into the extended day program while maintaining a positive, nurturing environment. You Will Also... Supervise students during structured activities, free play, and transitions Assist students with homework and other educational activities Plan and facilitate engaging activities, including arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play Follow established safety, attendance, and dismissal procedures Build positive relationships with students and encourage respectful behavior Collaborate with teachers, school leaders, and other team members to support an exceptional student experience Assist with seasonal camps and school events based on your interest and availability What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED Availability from 3:00–6:00 p.m. at least three days per week Previous experience working with children preferred A positive, patient, and energetic approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to supervise indoor and outdoor activities safely and attentively Ability to successfully pass state and federal background checks To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements
