Special Education Teacher | Kennewick WA | 2026–2027 School Year Ampersand Therapy is hiring Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year in Kennewick Washington. Responsibilities

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide developmentally appropriate instruction that supports early learning, communication, social-emotional growth, and school readiness Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment Collaborate with families, related service providers, and multidisciplinary team members Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and appropriate assistive technology when needed Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and family conferences

Qualifications

  • Valid Washington State teaching certificate Special Education endorsement required Experience working with preschool-aged children or early childhood special education preferred Must have current fingerprints on file with OSPI or be willing to complete them Benefits & Perks: Paid Sick Leave Healthcare Benefits
