We're looking for an instructor who lives in or near the South Bay to teach after-school chess classes at local elementary schools. Primary Teaching Areas We're especially interested in candidates who live in or near: San Jose Campbell Santa Clara Sunnyvale Cupertino Milpitas Los Gatos Saratoga Primary teaching assignments will be throughout the South Bay, including: San Jose Santa Clara Sunnyvale Reliable transportation is required. A personal vehicle is strongly preferred, as instructors may occasionally need to travel between different school locations. Schedule Up to 3-4 afternoon per week to start Classes typically begin between 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM Most classes run approximately 90 minutes Opportunity to increase hours as additional classes and school assignments become available. We're looking for someone who is: Reliable, punctual, and professional Great with elementary-age children Friendly, patient, and energetic Comfortable leading an elementary classroom independently Organized and communicative Candidates with personal vehicles are strongly preferred, as instructors may occasionally need to travel between different school locations.
