Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions. Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in special education and bilingual education. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Psychology, Special Education, or related field. Current state licensure or certification in relevant fields (SLP, Psychologist, Special Education). Experience working in educational settings, especially with diverse student populations. Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders and special education regulations. Proficiency in bilingual education is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Adept in assessing and developing appropriate educational strategies. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Passion for supporting and advocating for students with unique challenges.
