Market context

Texas TST specialist roles stay selective

In Texas, TST Specialist openings are typically tied to ongoing demand for IDD and autism services, especially where programs need staff who can coordinate supports and work across community settings. These roles are competitive because employers often look for QIDP qualifications, a human service bachelor’s degree, a valid Texas driver’s license, and direct experience in IDD/autism services.
