The childcare worker is responsible for caring for children ages 2-12 during chapel services and community events. They will facilitate age-appropriate games and crafts while maintaining a fun and positive environment.
We know that Asbury serves a community called, and this includes our families with children. As Formation Childcare Workers, your role is to care for the children (ages 2-12) during events and chapel services through things such as playing fun and age appropriate games, facilitating crafts, and watching over those who join. Childcare Workers will work 10-12 hours per week, covering events such as Chapel, Formation Classes, and monthly community events. These events and classes take place both on campus and in the Community House.
Care for the children in the Childcare Areas in a fun and positive way. Attend onboarding and CPR training. Be present during NSO, and as needed for potential events. Be in contact by phone, text, or e-mail at least weekly with the Director of Community Formation. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
