As a member of our teaching team, some of your responsibilities will include: Formalize lesson plans on a weekly basis for the upcoming instructional period.
Relate instructional objectives to curriculum standards and demonstrate effective decision-making concerning instructional goals.
Determine students’ performance using both informal and formal assessments and observations.
Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the program.
Use a variety of instructional materials, including contextual, supplemental, teacher-constructed, and teaching bulletin boards, as well as audio-visual aids, hands-on activities, discovery-based learning, and activity-based learning.
Maintains accurate and timely educational assessments and progress notes for all assigned students.
Train and supervise a teacher assistant within the classroom.
Meet with parents throughout the year to discuss the child’s progress.

Associate’s degree in early childhood education or AA in a similar field with required credits or CDA Montessori Experience (preferred) NAMC (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first year of employment) Ability to communicate with parents effectively and professionally Experience with Lesson planning and development Ability to multitask and function in an ever-changing environment Final compensation is determined based on a combination of factors, including years of experience in a similar role, relevant certifications and/or credentials, and the size and/or geographic location of the school.
