Job Summary

An Early Childhood Facilitator is responsible for the implementing evidence-based substance use prevention programming within local schools for students in pre-school through second grade.

Description of responsibilities

  • 1.
  • Facilitate discussion and activities to increase learning and understanding.
  • 2.
  • Completes documentation and reports according to agency and funding source timeframes, and returns paperwork and reports within one business day of training/program/group.
  • 3.
  • Ensures assigned paperwork is completed and maintained in accordance with funding source standards and CARE of SEM policy and procedures.
  • 4.
  • Able to administer outcome tools to measure services; for example, program evaluations.
  • 5.
  • Ability to adjust hours of work based on the community needs, including some evening and weekends.
  • 6.
  • Knowledgeable of national and local statistics related to presentation topics and demonstrates the ability to apply current trends to service delivery.

Required skills / education

1. A high school diploma or equivalent education/experience in related topic of presentation/training. 2. Completion of required training for presenting curriculum. 3. Strong facilitation skills for large and small groups.
