PURPOSE

The Day Trainer supports adults with developmental disabilities by implementing Individual Service Plans and providing training designed to increase independence, community engagement, life skills, and personal growth. This role combines classroom instruction, documentation, client support, and transportation responsibilities in a mission-driven environment.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Implement Individual Service Plan goals. Conduct classes and training activities. Document services, progress notes, and incidents. Assist individuals in developing life, vocational, and social skills. Transport clients safely as assigned. Collaborate with QIDPs and interdisciplinary teams. Maintain program materials and training supplies. Participate in required trainings and professional development. Additional duties as assigned. Responsible for tracking attendance, documenting services provided, monitoring client progress, and ensuring records are completed accurately and on time.
