The Teacher Associate supports the lead teacher in daily classroom operations, including instruction, material preparation, and maintaining a safe learning environment. They also participate in faculty meetings, supervise students during non-instructional times, and contribute to the school's character education curriculum.

Responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to: Supporting the grade-level lead teacher(s) in all aspects of the school day Create and maintain a positive and safe learning environment where students thrive academically Collaborating regularly with the other grade-level teachers and specialists Participating in all aspects of Bentley’s character education curriculum Designing innovative curricula in which both academic and social-emotional growth are considered Instruct individual students, small groups, or whole class to carry out curriculum Prepare and organize instructional materials Act as classroom teacher in Lead Teachers’ absence Attending regular faculty and grade-level meetings Assisting with supervision of students during lunch, recess, traffic duty, special events, off-campus field trips, etc. Attending various school functions, including Admissions events, Back to School Night, Conferences, etc. Other duties as assigned
