The Sports Coach will lead engaging, age-appropriate sports programming and mentorship to help youth build fundamental skills and confidence. They are also responsible for maintaining a safe, inclusive environment and managing program operations such as equipment setup and attendance tracking.
High Performance Academy (HPA) is on a mission to empower individuals to reach their potential through sports enrichment, and positive development experiences. We partner with schools and districts across California to provide dynamic, inclusive, and high-quality after-school and enrichment programs, camps and leagues that combine sports, social-emotional learning, and mentorship. As a Sports Coach, you'll inspire the next generation by creating fun, engaging, and safe sports experiences that help youth build fundamental skills, confidence, teamwork, leadership, and lifelong relationships. You'll lead high-quality after-school programs, camps, and leagues while serving as a positive role model for students of all ages and abilities. What You'll Bring
Pursuing a degree or experience in a related field.
2+ years of experience working with youth, coaching, or a similar role.
Passion for sports, youth development, and making a positive impact in the community.
Strong communication, customer service, and group management skills.
Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including primarily afternoons, but also open to mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
Positive attitude, professionalism, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow.
