Classroom Responsibilities Assist grade 4–5 classroom teachers with instruction Support students’ academic needs as identified and outlined by the classroom teacher. Help prepare instructional materials and implement daily lesson plans under the teacher’s direction. Proactively support students who are having difficulty focusing on a lesson or learning the material. Maintain a collaborative relationship with the classroom teacher and remain focused on helping students learn. Maintain open communication with the classroom teacher and promptly report concerns to the supervising teacher or division head. Assist with occasional clerical tasks as needed, while keeping direct work with students as the primary responsibility. Pay for this position is determined according to The Harker School's established pay scale and is based on relevant education and experience, as evaluated by the Human Resources Department.
