The Teacher Assistant provides instructional and operational support to teachers in the delivery of curriculum and facilitation of student learning. This role is responsible for reinforcing instructional content, supporting student mastery, and contributing to a structured and academically focused learning environment.
Requires working indoors and outdoors.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing.
Generally, the job requires 40% sitting, 20% walking, and 40% standing.
Sitting for extended periods of time; operating office equipment; kneeling, bending at the waist, and reaching overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally, to retrieve and store files and supplies; lifting light objects.
The ability to lift, carry, move, and/or position objects infrequently weigh up to 50 pounds.
This position may serve multiple locations and require travel
Candidates must possess at least 60 college credits, an Associate degree, or a passing score on the Paraprofessional Exam. Applicants are also required to pass a Level 2 background check and a subject-specific proficiency examination.
