Assist with the administration and supervision of after-school activities for the Jaffrey-Rindge school district. Coordinate with Literacy Initiative Coordinators to support students during activities and Literacy Evening events.
This position will help with the administration of several (4-5) after-school activities per semester for the Jaffrey-Rindge school district leading up to a Literacy Evening event at the schools. Assistants will work with the students to help with after-school activities as planned in coordination with Literacy Initiative Coordinators and will help supervise and administer activities at the Literacy celebration events. The majority of work will be in the late afternoon/early evening, for meetings, training, and administration of the after-school events.
10 hours of work a week on average based on availability.
Must be a Federal Work Study eligible student. An interest in working with elementary aged youth and in an educational setting a plus. Open to all majors, not just education majors. Access to a vehicle is preferred, but not a requirement. Employment is contingent upon completion of a satisfactory criminal background check.
