About the role

The instructor will teach College Composition courses on-site and participate in course content development. They are also responsible for assessing student work and providing feedback using the Brightspace learning management system.

This position is based in the following office location: Manchester, NH The opportunity The School of Arts, Sciences, and Education (SASE) at Southern New Hampshire University is looking for Adjunct Instructors to teach on-site, beginning Fall 2026 on the Manchester, NH campus.

You will report to the Associate Dean for SASE.

The following courses are available: ENG120 - College Composition I What you'll do: Teach courses as scheduled Participate in course content development Access student work and provide prompt feedback Use Brightspace (the Learning Management System) to support the course What we're looking for: Master's degree in English, rhetoric, composition, or related field Prior experience teaching at the collegiate level is preferred #LI-Onsite We believe real innovation comes from inclusion - where different experiences, perspectives and talents are celebrated.

Compensation The standard compensation for courses is $2,800 - $3,400 per 16-week undergraduate or graduate course.

Actual pay is determined at the time of course assignment based on discipline.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in English, rhetoric, composition, or a related field. Prior experience teaching at the collegiate level is preferred.
