Boys Swim Coach Winter 2026 Part-Time | Mounds Park Academy | Saint Paul, MN

Mounds Park Academy (MPA) is a PreK–12 independent school in Saint Paul, Minnesota, serving approximately 575 students from throughout the Twin Cities area. We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and experienced Boys Swim Coach to lead our high school swim program. This position is responsible for all aspects of the program, including planning and leading practices, coaching at meets, fostering athlete development, and promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and run all practices and meets during the swim season.
• Develop athletes’ skills and understanding of competitive swimming in alignment with MPA’s educational values.
• Create a positive, respectful, and supportive team environment.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of high school swimming rules and coaching techniques.
• Collaborate with the Athletic Department to ensure compliance with MSHSL regulations.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, families, and school staff.
• Model and instill sportsmanship, leadership, and character in all team members.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience (preferably at the high school level).
• Strong knowledge of competitive swimming techniques and training.
• Ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes.
• Commitment to upholding the mission and values of Mounds Park Academy.
