About the role

The Lead Infant Teacher will provide a nurturing and safe classroom environment while supporting the individual developmental needs of infants. They will also build strong relationships with families through consistent communication and collaborate with the teaching team to maintain high standards of care.

Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a loving and attentive Lead Infant Teacher to join our team.

Our infant program provides a safe, nurturing environment where the youngest learners can explore, grow, and reach important developmental milestones — all while feeling secure and supported.

As an Lead Infant Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to: Provide a warm, responsive, and engaging classroom experience that supports each child’s individual needs.

Qualifications

Must be at least 19 years old and meet state licensing requirements. CDA or 60 credits with at least 6 credits in ECE or degree in Early Childhood Education required. Prior experience in a licensed childcare center preferred. A nurturing personality with patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with babies. Signing Bonus: This position is eligible for a signing bonus totaling $1,500 paid in installments as follows: $1,000 after 90 days of employment and $500 after 6 months of employment. All bonus payments are subject to standard tax withholdings. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
