UVA Athletics Student Success seeks a diverse candidate pool of Student Success Study Hall Monitors to support student-athletes in their academic spaces. We are seeking dependable and attentive Study Hall Monitors to provide supervision and support during our evening study hall hours. The ideal candidate will create a safe, structured, and quiet environment where students can focus on academic success while ensuring program policies and expectations are followed. Student Success Study Hall Monitors Hours:
Supervise students during study hall hours. Maintain a quiet, organized, and productive learning environment. Monitor student attendance and check students in and out as required. Enforce program rules and expectations in a professional and respectful manner. Address minor behavioral issues and report significant concerns to Student Success Team Assist with closing procedures for the study hall. Communicate professionally with staff and students. Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants throughout the shift.
Current UVA student enrolled full time. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm, professional, and attentive in a supervisory role. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to follow all UVA, ACC, and NCAA Guidelines. Federal work study students encouraged to apply.
