Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School is seeking a dependable and engaging part-time Aftercare Teacher to supervise and support students in the after-school program. This position is responsible for providing a safe, structured, and welcoming environment through age-appropriate games, enrichment activities, homework support, and supervised free play.
Approximately 3:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m., Monday through Friday (approximately 2.75 hours per day)
Starting at $23.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
Student Groups: TK-8 students or assigned grade levels
Actively supervise students in both indoor and outdoor environments. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the campus for extended periods. Participate in games, recreational activities, and other student engagement activities. Occasionally lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds. Respond quickly to student needs and emergency situations.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of required pre-employment clearances, including Live Scan fingerprinting, TB clearance, employment eligibility verification (Form I-9), and all required school and state training.
